Am I playing Winter incorrectly? If not, I'll do so in a couple of months when the next episode's out! Until then, feel free to hit me up with any suggestions and constructive criticism you like. Thanks!

This is Winter's voicemail. Leave your message and I'll get to it later.

 [OOC]

Backtagging: Yes.
Threadhopping: Yes.
Fourthwalling: Winter's entirely willing to believe she's fictional in other worlds. Probably been prepared for that, actually.
Offensive subjects: Sure, but nothing incredibly traumatic. Winter's still wrapping her head around the concept of poverty and murder.

[IC]

Hugging this character: Sure.
Kissing this character: Sure, but expect to be feebly punched. Several times.
Flirting with this character: I kind of need to see this now. Yes.
Fighting with this character: I'd rather not. It's fine if your character gets a punch in, but Winter's a non-fighter.
Injuring this character: Sure, but run it past me first.
Killing this character: Again, run it past me. I'll only do this once or twice.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Sure.

Winter’s main personality trait is entirely derived from living her entire life in a world unplagued by poverty or conflict. She has to be taught both concepts early in the game, and even then, expresses a very distorted, unemphathetic view on those struggling to get by. She doesn’t know what a nuclear weapon is until it’s explained to her, and things like murder are so stigmatized by her society that they do not even allow writing on it.

She is highly idealistic, and often scorns the idea of the needs of the few outweighing the many. Again, this is largely a product of Winter's society. It may be filled with immense amounts of rules and a clear structure of power, but the fact of the matter is it works, and Winter has no objections towards her Earth's system (the traditional meaning of the word being used here).

Oddly enough, despite this, she still appears to value logic and reason, stating that both have a soothing effect on her. Winter likes to read, but fittingly for her ideals, she seems to favor fantasy books. Chaos as a concept plays a very large part in Dysfunctional Systems, and Winter appreciates being able to understand things, even if she will admit to finding an unpredictable state of affairs more amusing.

Winter has a fairly realistic level of conviction to things. For instance, she starts the game absolutely opposed to drinking alcohol (in large part thanks to having a mother with something of an addiction), but is convinced to do so (just once) in order to blend in.

Her manner of speaking is not at all shy, especially around those she considers friends. Winter has very natural dialogue, and talks much like you would expect a teenager out of her element would (albeit a very well-read teenager, which she shows in her line of thought by appreciating irony and thinking things through). That said, she does tend to go off in her own little world, thinking about as much as you'd expect a VN protagonist to do. Contrary to what she says, Winter's lines of thought can get rather... incoherent.

Winter has a temper on her, and has in fact cursed when particularly agitated. She does not handle stress well at all, and can be left at a loss for action, lashing out at her mentor instead. That said, she does feel a fair amount of guilt when things go wrong, which could be indicative of simply trying to deflect the blame.
